Suttiluk Puangsuwan
Biography
Suttiluk Puangsuwan was born in Phayao, Thailand, on September 30, 1994. He is a Master of Music, specializing in Music Research and Development, and a graduate of the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University, where he studied clarinet under Yos Vaneesorn. During his Master’s degree, he was chosen to receive a scholarship from the 'Fund for Classical Music Promotion Under the Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana.' Suttiluk also took lessons with Nicola Jürgensen, Phillip O. Paglialonga, Yuetsu Ito, Roeland Hendrikx, Andrew Simon, and Dai Le. In 2017, he was selected as an exchange student at Conservatorium Maastricht, Netherlands, by Silpakorn University.
As a performer, he has been a member/substitute of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Princess Galyani Vadhana Youth Orchestra, Siam Sinfonietta, Summer Music School, Pro Musica 'Gone with Woodwind,' Studio28, Feroci Philharmonic Winds, Rangsit Yamaha Wind Orchestra (2014), Thailand Wind Philharmonic (2015), Bangkok Wind Orchestra (2015), Worldship Orchestra from Japan, Shade Wind Chamber, Silpakorn University Wind Orchestra, Silpakorn University Orchestra, and Bansomdej Rajabhat University Wind Orchestra.
He has participated in many competitions, including the Thailand International Wind Ensemble Competition (2014), Young Thai Talented Classical Musicians 'Road to Carnegie Hall' (2015), Rangsit Music Competition (2016), Princess Galyani Vadhana International Ensemble Competition (2017), Final Round of PYO Call for Soloists (2017), 2nd Place Winner in Category A (Large Ensemble) of the PGVIEC Competition (2018), 3rd Place Winner in Category C (Duet) of the PGVIEC Competition (2018), 1st Place in the Thailand International Trophy Band Competition (Concert Band) (2019), 1st Place in the Virtual Virtuoso Solo Competition by Opera Siam (2020), Platinum Prize at the Quebec International Music Competition (2021), Honorable Mention in The MAP International Music Competition (2021), Winner of King’s Peak International Music Competition (2021), Winner of the NAE Virtual Musician (Solo Category) (2022), and Winner of the Thailand International Clarinet Competition (2023)
