Yamaha presents with 'Passion and Performance' at Musikmesse 2014
Frankfurt, Germany - At the 2014 Frankfurt Messe, Yamaha is introducing a various line up of new products under the new slogan "Passion and Performance", which delivers Yamaha's uncompromising desire to meet customers' expectations and aspiration to be truly welcomed in the market.

Yamaha's main display for Musical Instruments is in the hall "Forum". All the latest Yamaha innovations in the field of Commercial Audio are showcased in the Hall 8.0 at the Prolight + Sound 2014 exhibition.

Pianos
U1 TransAcoustic™ Piano. Yamaha introduces the U1TA Upright Piano, the first instrument of its kind to reproduce all sounds (in addition to the acoustic piano) from the soundboard, rather than from a traditional speaker. This is made possible by Yamaha's proprietary TransAcoustic™ technology, which turns the entire soundboard of the piano into one big "loudspeaker" that can deliver any sound through this naturally resonant component.
The renewed b-Series. The b-Series, like all Yamaha pianos, are instruments of extraordinary, natural beauty, combining art, craftsmanship and technology; a pleasure to play and to own. The line up has been renewed with new designed casters and solid spruce soundboard on b2 and b3 for a richer sound quality. Visit us at our piano booth in the Forum to experience the renewed b-Series models - or try the fantastic Yamaha Silent Piano SG2 technology.
Grand Piano GB1 now available in polished white. Incorporating the exceptional design concept of Yamaha's coveted C Series, the beautiful GB1 produces a broad dynamic range with superb sound. In addition to the GB1 acoustic version, Yamaha offers the GB1 SG2 Silent version available at a price suitable for smaller budgets and the GB1 E3 Disklavier version. All GB1 models are now available in white colour.
Bösendorfer is proud to present with Opus a very special piano, celebrating 185 years of Bösendorfer history and reaching the milestone of 50.000 pianos being handcrafted by Bösendorfer in Austria. Further, Bösendorfer expands the range of Grand pianos with the SH silent system from Yamaha build into the 170 SH model. This time, Bösendorfer will be exhibiting on a separate and exclusive booth found in the hall of European piano makers in FOR.1, C07.
Digital Pianos and Keyboards
New CLP-Series.
Two of the world's finest grands in one piano

Complex sample sets, painstakingly borrowed from Yamaha's flagship CFX concert grand, plus the magnificent Bösendorfer Imperial, offer a unique choice of sound. Tyros 5-76, Tyros 5-61. Yamaha recently introduced the Tyros5 Arranger Workstation keyboard, the most powerful keyboard on the market today, is the ultimate instrument for composing, arranging and performing music. It is available for the first time in 76-note or 61-note models.

Guitars & Amps
L Series. The new L Series acoustic guitars, a revered line of handcrafted models known for their tonal quality, offer fine tone woods and impeccable workmanship, as well as several new innovations that deliver classic Yamaha quality and value.
NTX. Both new Guitars, the all-new NTX700C and NCX700C easily accommodate a wide range of musical and playing styles and offer the perfect place to start exploring your music and nylon string sound. NTX700C and NCX700C feature solid Cedar on the top board and deliver a rich sound with powerful response.
THR. THR5 (V.2) and THR10 (V.2). THR is designed to fit where, when, and how you play when you are not on stage. Now the THR5 as well as the THR10 have been upgraded version 2, with an even better sound.
Drums
Absolute Hybrid Maple Color Variation. The Absolute Hybrid Maple drum set integrates a core ply of harder wenge wood with outer plies of North American maple that produces a drum with an unusually expressive tone and a wide dynamic range.
Stage Custom Birch Color Variation. As with the introduction of Stage Custom in 1995 Yamaha once again sets the standards of value and sound. The new Stage Custom inherits 100% birch wood, with upgraded metal parts.
Band & Orchestra
XENO Series. The new Xeno Bb trumpets benefit from a number of new innovative features representing a new way of thinking with regard to trumpet design. Maintaining the iconic Xeno sound, with 16 combinations available, these new instruments promise to inspire trumpet players from all musical genres.
Neo Baritone. Developed in collaboration with world renowned baritone player, Katrina Marzella, the Neo Baritone has been completely re-designed, giving the instrument's sound warmth, breadth, and projected power in equal measure. The Neo Baritone will blend perfectly in any section but, has the power and projection to sing over the band as a majestic solo instrument.
SILENT Brass™. Experience the evolution of the award winning SILENT Brass™. completely re-designed, the new look SILENT Brass™ is now powered by Brass Resonance Modeling™ giving brass players a natural playing feel.
Timpani. Yamaha's symphonic timpani range has had a complete make-over benefitting from a number of new features such as improved maneuverability, optimized rim-height, a range of bowl types and on the 7300 Series, an easy to use pedal adjustment clutch (PAC) system.
Concert Percussion. Improved designs have taken the legendary Yamaha concert drum sound to a new level. With the most trusted brand in the percussion section, Yamaha has built upon the success of previous models to introduce a variety of background concert percussion instruments that fit the needs of any musical genre.
Particularly exciting is the new CSM Series Concert Snare Drums which features a new 8-ply maple shell and a new Q-Type 'quiet' strainer.

Pro Audio
MG Series Mixers. We are launching a brand new series of MG compact mixing consoles, which include ten flexible models - from six to twenty channels in size - that are suitable for a wide range of both portable and installation applications. Separated into two lines of models - XU models and standard models - we are sure that there is at least one matching model for every possible scenario.
HS Series Speakers in White. The brand new white versions of the 5" HS5 W, 6.5" HS7 W and 8" HS8 W provide users with a broad range of monitors that can adapt to a wider variety of music production environments and aesthetics.
Commercial Audio
At the Prolight + Sound show in Hall 8.0 stand F50, Yamaha Commercial Audio will once again be exhibiting a range of live sound, installation and post production audio solutions under the slogan "Connect with Experience".
QL-Series.
The Quintessential Compact digital mixing consoles QL5, QL1.
The acclaimed CL series raised live digital mixing console performance to an unprecedented level of refinement with evolved sound quality, operability, and functionality, while maintaining the traditional values that have made Yamaha digital mixers industry standards.
