Apple Course
 
Overview : A 2-year-old accompanied by a parent
 
Description : Two-year-olds are filled with raw creativity and are without inhibitions, approaching everything with passion and curiosity. When given the right tools to express themselves, watch as their artistic flair takes over. Designed for two-year-olds, our lessons enable your toddler to enjoy music the fun way with you. We foster your little one's love for music by teaching them how to 'listen' through fun activities like singing, body movements and playing with rhythm. It's a great way to spend quality time bonding with your little one.
 
Age : 2 years
 
Duration : Approximately 6 months - 1 year
 
Instruction : Group instruction only
 
Remark : For maximum benefit, parents are required to attend class with the students.

 

 

Music Wonderland : MW
 
Overview : A course to prepare students for future music classes
 
Description : Fundamental of music for children 2-3 years old with an emphasis on aural skills and aesthetic perception along with the enjoyment of story telling through music and illustrations, in order for students to develop an interest and creativity from listening in accordance with their physical, mental, and emotional development. Parents’ participation will enhance the confidence of the students.
 
Age : 3 years
 
Duration : Approximately 1 year
 
Instruction : Group instruction only
 
Remark : For maximum benefit, parents are required to attend class with the students.

 

 

Junior Music Course : JMC
 
Overview : A basic music course for children (Beginner)
 
Description : An integrated music course for children 3-4 years old. A music course only unique to Yamaha with emphasis on aural skills, among which, children will be able to differentiate and identify pitches. Students will also learn about basic aspects of music—melody, rhythm, and harmony—through listening, singing, and playing. The most emphasized aspect in this course is listening, through which students will enjoy learning and creating. Children this age need participation and encouragement from parents in developing their creativity and self-confidence. Upon completion of the course students are evaluated with Fundamental Skill Survive (FSS) and receive a certificate from Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan.
 
Age : 4 to 5 years old
 
Duration : Approximately 2 years
 
Instruction : Group instruction only
 
Remarks : •   For maximum benefit, parents are required to attend the class with the students.
•  There is a parent meeting after the first three months of starting each book.
•  There is a class concert performed by students every six months, or after finishing each book.

 

 

Junior Extension Course : JXC
 
Overview : A basic music course for children (Lower Intermediate)
 
Description : A continuation of Junior Music Course. Six years old students in general have significantly developed intellectual and thought processes, so as their coordination between finger and finger muscles and brain. By continuing on to JXC course, students will advance their learning about basic aspects of music, they will also learn basic improvisation that prepares them for music composition and arranging in a more advanced course. Upon completion of the course, students will be assessed for Yamaha Grade 9, and receive a certificate from Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan.
 
Age : Students who have completed Junior Music Course (JMC)
 
Duration : 2 years (Four one-hour lessons a month)
 
Instruction : Group instruction only
 
Remark : There is a class concert performed by students every six months, or after finishing each book.

 

 

Junior Advanced Course : JAC
 
Overview : A basic music course for children (Upper Intermediate)
 
Description : A continuation of Junior Extension Course (JXC) with an emphasis on more advanced music skills including improvisation. The course covers basic arranging music for solo or ensemble by developing creativity, along with higher level of playing the piano or electone. Upon completion of the course, students will be assessed for Yamaha Grade 7, and receive a certificate from Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan.
 
Age : Students who have completed Junior Extension Course (JXC)
 
Duration : Approximately 2 years
 
Instruction : One-hour group lesson and half-an-hour private lesson
 
Remarks : •  Students chose private piano or electone lesson.
•  There is a class concert performed by students every six months, or after finishing each book.

 

 

Advanced Extension Course : AXC
 
Overview : A basic music course for children (Advanced)
 
Description : A continuation of the highest level of Yamaha Junior Course, Junior Advanced Course (JAC). Advance Extension Course aims to bring out the potential of students in singing, playing an instrument, arranging, improvisation, and also composing new music through improvisation. Students who complete this course will be able to play in an ensemble, and improve their piano or electone skills. Upon completion of the course, students will be assessed for Yamaha Grade 6, and receive a certificate from Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan.
 
Age : Students who have completed Junior Advanced Course
 
Duration : Approximately 2 years
 
Instruction : One-hour group lesson and half-an-hour private lesson
 
Remarks : •  Students chose private piano or electone lesson.
•  There is a class concert performed by students every six months, or after finishing each book.

 

 

Junior Ensemble Course (JNC) and Advance Ensemble Course (ANC)
 
Overview : Ensemble Group
 
Description : This course is a continuation of Junior Extension Course (JXC). It emphasizes on ensemble and duet skills on piano or Electone, which is to play along with other students/musicians. It also includes basic improvisation with ensemble arrangements to learn imaginative music making. Upon completing this course, students will be able to take Yamaha Grade 7, Piano or Electone Grade. Examination Certificate is organized and provided by Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan.
 
Age : Approximately 8 years old
 
Duration : Approximately 4 years
 
Instruction : Group lesson
 
Remarks : •  Class Concert every 6 months

 

 

Junior Special Advanced Course : JSAC
 
Overview : A special music course for intermediate students
 
Description : A continuation from Junior Music Course (JMC) for 6 years old students who passed a selection process or an audition on singing, playing and listening skills. JSAC course is the start of junior composers as it fosters and develops every aspect of musical ability along with piano or electone skills, which will enable students to compose their own music. Students can complete this course in 3 years. Upon completion of the course, students will be assessed for Yamaha Grade 7, and receive a certificate from Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan.
 
Age : Students who have completed Junior Music Course (JMC)
 
Duration : Approximately 3 years
 
Instruction : One-hour group lesson and half-an-hour private lesson
 
Remarks :
Students need to pass an audition to be eligible to enroll / students choose between piano or electone for private lesson.
There is a class concert performed by students every six months, or after finishing each book.
Students’ compositions will be performed in Thai Junior Original Concert (Thai JOC)
Qualified student compositions will be performed abroad as representatives from Thailand.

 

 

Special Advanced Course : SAC
 
Overview : A special music course for advanced students
 
Description : A continuation of Junior Special Advanced Course (JSAC) in composing, arranging and ensemble in a higher level. This course is an open door for students to being a performer by developing student’s all-round music ability—playing the piano or electone, singing, and listening in a perfect balance. Upon completion of the course, students will be assessed for Yamaha Grade 6, and receive a certificate from Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan.
 
Age : Students who have completed Junior Special Advanced Course
 
Duration : Approximately 2 years
 
Instruction : One-hour group lesson and forty-minute private lesson
 
Remarks :
Students need to pass JSAC to be eligible to enroll / students choose between piano or electone for private lesson.
There is a class concert performed by students every six months, or after finishing each book.
Students’ compositions will be performed in Thai Junior Original Concert (Thai JOC)
Qualified student compositions will be performed abroad as representatives from Thailand.

 

 

Junior Step Fundamental Course : JSFC
 
Overview : A fundamental music course for 6 years old children
 
Description : A course developed for individual or group lessons. Students will develop their aural skills, music literacy, singing, and playing through activities that center around the enjoyment of the students. These skills are stepping stones for students to further their music skills in playing the piano or electone. Upon completion of the course, students will be assessed for Yamaha Grade 11, and receive a certificate from Yamaha Music Foundation, Japan.
 
Age : 6 years
 
Duration : Approximately 1 year
 
Instruction : Individual, pair, or a group
 
Remarks : -
